Workplace Health & Safety Show announces 2021 dates in Melbourne

On Tuesday 18 – Wednesday 19 May 2021 the greatest minds in health and safety from multiple sectors across Australia will meet at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for the Workplace Health & Safety Show 2021, an event showcasing the cutting edge of the safety world. These new dates are announced following the postponement of the 2020 show in response to the measures put in place to stop the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19.

“We are all beginning to grasp the challenge that lies before us, and we are all doing what we can to keep the health and safety ship afloat in the months ahead. As this crisis moves through our community there will be great pain. But on the other side, the health and safety of every Australian worker will be more important than it has ever been – and we will all have new and critical roles to play. #Safetyscape 2021 will be the beginning of a whole new paradigm,” said David Clarke CEO of the host of #Safetyscape, the Australian Institute of Health and Safety.

“There has never been a more crucial time for workplace health and safety. Over the past weeks we have all been impacted by the Coronavirus, with all workplaces working tirelessly to manage the risks to their employees and teams. With the Show being held in May 2021 in Melbourne, we are showing our commitment and support for the industry,” said Marie Kinsella, Chief Executive Officer, IEC Group Pty Ltd.

The Workplace Health & Safety Show will take place as a key event of #SAFETYSCAPE 2021. An initiative of the highly respected Australian Institute of Health and Safety, the peak body in Australia representing OHS safety professionals, #SAFETYSCAPE is a program of events, workshops, forums, seminars and conferences. An absolute must for anyone whose job involves safety, #SAFETYSCAPE will bring together the biggest and brightest minds from the health and safety community to share crucial insights and ideas.
