Taking place from 19-21 July at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, O=MEGA19 combines the most credentialed and largest annual optometry conference in the Southern Hemisphere with the largest eye care and eyewear show in Australia.

As the first official event of the merging of Optical Victoria and Optical South Australia, the biggest line-up of world-class speakers will be participating, with keynotes Danica J. Marrelli, OD, FAAO, AAO Diplomate (Glaucoma) and Dr. Jordan Keith already confirmed.
Danica Marrelli is currently a clinical professor at UHCO, where she serves as Assistant Dean of Clinical Education and staffs the glaucoma, retina, and general eye disease clinics; and is the secretary of the Optometric Glaucoma Society.
Dr. Keith is at the Eye Care Center, a group optometry private practice in the Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, a member of the American Optometric Association, and serves as Chair of the Minnesota Optometric Association Education Committee.

The take-up by the industry in confirming their position in the exhibition has also been immense with 85% of stands sold. The nation’s most comprehensive exhibition of optical equipment, frames, sunglasses and lenses is Australia’s key buying fair and the only one owned by the Australian optical industry.
